T.H.R.I.V.E. Association has a new logo! We have been working hard to develop something that is all-encompassing while still maintaining a simplicity that allows for easy interpretation. This newly developed crest is reflective of the Organization’s overall mission and purpose: Operibus anteire – Leading the way with deeds. Why a dove, you might ask? We chose this particularly beautiful and symbolic bird to represent the peaceful manner and soaring aspirations with which we aim to empower our homeless veterans. Finally, the crest’s symbol of a needle and thread represents the hand-crafted nature of our aid, while also forming the “T” in T.H.R.I.V.E. Association. Cool!
Additionally, our Chief Officer, Victoria, has posted more patterns to T.H.R.I.V.E. Associations’s Ravelry page. If you didn’t know already, Ravelry is a free to join community for both knitters and crocheters. Once you have made an account, you can use the link below for T.H.R.I.V.E. Assn.’s updated page, with a forum for questions and discussions as well:
