We would like to wish our wonderful T.H.R.I.V.E. Association family a safe and happy Independence Day Weekend! We’d also like to take a moment to remember our brave heroes, past and present, who have selflessly sacrificed so much to help make this great nation of ours the land of the free and the home of the brave. We are all truly grateful!
Although our typical 4th of July celebrations are tempered by our efforts to stop the spread of Covid-19, let us all still be ever mindful of the sacrifices of those who gave so much of themselves to ensure the freedom of this great nation. As has been said so many times before, freedom does not come freely.
There are several Stand Downs fast approaching and we are still working diligently to make sure that each of our nation’s brave heroes and their dependents receive our essential goods. There is still plenty of time to donate for these events. For those who live in the DFW area, we provide residential curbside pickup service. Please call our office to make arrangements. If you live outside of the DFW area and would like to donate handcrafted goods, we do accept donations via parcel post. You can also donate monetarily to our cause through our website at thrivevets.org.

On the 4th of July every member of T.H.R.I.V.E. Association was busy at work preparing for the upcoming Homeless Veterans’ Stand Down! We all crocheted up a storm with some vegan doughnuts and coffee! (Yes, even our lawyer learned some crochet stitches.) Working together, we made over a half-dozen hats in the colors of our great nation that day!
