Cohen Military Family Clinic at Metrocare. We are thankful to all the wonderful and welcoming staff there for allowing T.H.R.I.V.E. Association to join in on bringing the good vibes and candy to the veteran families in our local community!
Happy Monday, dear T.H.R.I.V.E. Association family! The DFW Fiber Fest was held this past weekend and we had a wonderful time meeting and speaking with everyone at our booth! We would like to thank all of the DFW Fiber Fest staff for the opportunity to share T.H.R.I.V.E. Association’s mission of benefiting our underprivileged military veterans and their dependents with our local crafting community. We’d also like to thank all of our community partners for their support.

We’re going to need more hats, scarves, and gaiters for the Stand Down in September. We were able to gift our lovingly hand-crafted items to the underprivileged veterans and their dependents at the Alachua County Veterans Center in Gainesville, Florida this past week. We couldn’t have done it without all of the support and hard work from our donors, crafters, and staff! Last Thursday, we were able to give our lovingly hand crafted goods to our longtime partner Operation Care for their annual Christmas Gift Stand Down. Operation Care’s Christmas Gift 2022, which supports Dallas-Fort Worth’s homeless and at-risk population (including veterans and their dependents), is right around the corner! We have been supporting this event for years and each year is better than the last, so we’re definitely going to take part again this year. We’ll be there, in person, to pass out our lovingly hand crafted gifts to the lovely veterans and their dependents! Between our wonderful partners in Anchorage, AK to Huntington, WV, and most recently Dallas, TX, we’ve had quite a whirlwind of Stand Downs these past short weeks! We would like to thank all of these Stand Downs for allowing us to take part in supporting their respective homeless veteran communities. We’d also like to thank our incredible community partners for their role in making this, and all of the other Stand Downs that we support across the United States, so awesome! Last but certainly not least, we must thank our selfless volunteers and donors who make all of this possible in the first place!
